two comments. one. from left seat, i just LOVE spending three day trips with "isn't life wonderful" rose-colored glasses new guys who keep yapping about how great everything is. two. there is never any "get over it". learn your history in whatever profession you choose to follow. this profession has a history. listen up. and fyi, to those new to this racket, all airline workers for decades kept note (seriously and in jest) of the different groups. allegheny. pan am. psa. northwest. and on and on. there will be talk here until 2040 about south and north. get over it yourself. it's how we humans are.

Sorry homeboy, 9 years here, including a little stint called a furlough...you chose to not get over it! I chose to move along! Sorry to burst your psychological babble..but it's babble. Yep, making money and flying a jet, at least this week I am...it's okay to be happy!
one. it's not about what you or I choose to get over. the whole pilot group, and in fact the whole industry, always had and always will remember the different past groups who are later joined together. I'm not saying what should or should not happen. Just pointing out what's always happened
two. yep, it's okay to be happy. I never wrote otherwise. I answered some fo who posted some comment about not liking hearing the comments from the left seat about the different groups. and all I pointed out was that maybe some left-seaters don't enjoy all the koom bah yaa giddiness from the right seat the whole three day trip.

it's incredible that some of you guys actually fly airliners. really. carrying on arguments about whether a new training slot and plane/seat bid is offered by management to cover a retiring pilot or to cover new flying. I'm just rolling my eyes. must be fun to sit in your cockpits for a four day trip. are you guys like this at home, too???
