As far as the rah rah comment - I'd bet your wife doesn't want to be a cheerleader for the airline as an '86 hire. They've got a long way to go to get a joint contract. OM needs to get involved and get it done.

Yes, I have/do and mostly senior UAL F/A's. What do we pay OM for? It's his responsibility to fix the rift created by JS and that includes post merger employee contracts. It cost money to run and airline and OM's people are trying to do it on a JS cheap side.
I don't blame the CAL F/A's because they'll get hosed on senority and in the same respect, I don't blame the UAL F/A's for not wanting to work under a rah rah start-up airline work-rules contract. OM can't find middle ground? It's his job........
