I don't think it works like that. Whatever is unfilled in the latest snapshot are the real time vacancies. In other words: it's not June's unfilled PLUS August's unfilled that reflect current vacancies. Whatever is shown unfilled in the latest published document (snapshot or final) are the sum total of all vacancies left unfilled.
They have 3 months to use any unfilled vacancy for New Hires.
8-F-3-d In the event a vacancy is not filled within three (3) months of the date the award bulletin was issued, the vacancy shall be cancelled.
So, it is the sum total of any unfilleds that are less than 3 months old at the time of the class.

I'll see you there. 27 Apr CJO. Was told Aug at the interview. Was told Sept/Oct during the CJO phone call. Was offered 2 Aug, which i couldn't separate in time for and told if I couldn't make 23 Aug I'd be waiting until Dec/Jan. Excited to be joining the team.

Final results from the most recent vacancy bid our out and here are the "unfilled vacancies"
DCA 737 FO - 30 unfilled
EWR 737 FO - 55 unfilled
EWR 756 FO - 17 unfilled
LAX 737 FO - 26 unfilled
SFO 320 FO - 2 unfilled
SFO 737 FO - 97 unfilled
SFO 756 FO - 15 unfilled
So based on those results as well as the results from the previous bid, I would suspect a healthy dose of EWR and SFO.
