My little mind, lol have to love folks like yourself.

i did not write "570 that could have shown up for ioe if the strike was shorter.". maybe grab a quick reading course and then re-read my post.

as for "starting with...". since you got that one wrong, care to continue past "starting with.."?
care to state another fact I have no idea about according to you?
try again ?

if you do not understand that Ferris planned a strike, that he actively executed a plan to fly through the strike using Fleet Quals in the front two seats and these 570 in the sideways seats, then you understand nothing. nothing.

go ahead. re-read my earlier post. then post some facts you think are wrong.
try again....

Yup, I doubt most people in the programs will actually get hired at UAL because of these programs. They seem to be more of a false advertising attempt to attract warm bodies at the RJ level. Although IMO these programs might stem a shortage at UAL in 2025 at the peak of retirements.

BOTH true....

The amount of vague/gray mismanaged language that exists in them is astounding.

But hey, at least it got the sick call rate for the summer of 2016 to drop at one of the regionals that has a CPP. Silly pilots thought it would affect their CPP chances...........

What a coup for regional and UAL management.

Alright class say this with me

The 570 are not SCABS
The 570 are not SCABS
The 570 are not SCABS
...

Now that's clear moving on.

This is absurd. Did the the pilot cross and are they good to fly with? If you can answer yes to both then go have fun. If course a couple of the 570 are a little tweaked in the head, but I attribute that to the 5% rule. I had a great time with lots of memories flying with the other 95%.

If you want a valuable topic let's discuss the scabs. Let's talk about their all about me mentality. Let's discuss the new hires who proclaim since they were born in the early 80's they aren't concerned with scabs.

this off- thread thread veered way off.
someone a few pages back said that the 570 were the most respected group at ual. others said maybe not. then some got into the whole scab thing.
turns out, a group like the 570 can be - at the same time - not scabs and not the most respected group.

goodness

Wrong again - it was CAL ALPA (read you) that allowed CAL SCABS in CAL ALPA.

And the UAL pilots rightfully honored the 570 post strike.

Reference Flying The Line II

"Every professional airline pilot still covered by an ALPA contract owes the 570 a debt of gratitude. By courageously acting in concert with United’s striking pilots, the 570 allowed the pilots to settle the issue directly, without fear of their flank crumbling."

Is that the post?

Yes I read it again and stand by what I wrote and yes I have a full understanding of the strike. I won't waste any more time with you and your opinions on the matter. When were you hired again?
