If you want a valuable topic let's discuss the scabs. Let's talk about their all about me mentality. Let's discuss the new hires who proclaim since they were born in the early 80's they aren't concerned with scabs.

Haha, boy did I screw that up. It should read "If you can answer no to the first and yes to the second then...."

Insults??? I stated my opinion and asked when you were hired, so far the insults have come from your posts.

Watching the argument on this thread.

The big unknown here and an understated concern is where the small regionals who fly older, less automated equipment, going to get their pilots.

Just like sailing, these days the bigger the plane, the easier it is.

If you want a challenge try flying some underpowered tube with propellers in a busy environment, with thunder storms or icing.

My hat is off to those who have spent decades at the regionals, while maintaining a safe record.

What quality of applicant can be expected to a program that does not have a clear path to a 787?

This seems to good to be true... What's the catch? If we're all going to spend 1-2 years as a CFI anyhow, why not sign up for this program and go straight to UAL? Is there a reason to go through the regionals if something like this is available?
