i think you are the one that missed his point. im just reminding him of the downside of being on the bottom of any list (by choice). i certainly am not going to be empathetic to his reserve wailings come contract time.... and if flying a cool plane but having no life is a goal of his then cool.... im happy for him....
(What list are the bottom 787 captains, who will be on permanent reserve the rest of their careers, on?)

You make it sound like it's a bad thing
nah, you missed it.... oh, and the bottom 11 SFO 787 CAP with 3000 plus seniority numbers over the age of 55 will never hold a line as the majority of legacy united 787 pilots senior to them are younger than they are

So for whatever reason the snap up calculator isn't working for me.
So I watched the ALPA video on the snap up, and it seems to me we will only get about a 0.5% raise come Jan. (based on their example which is close to what might pass).
Can anyone post a screen shot of where this 4.76% (or whatever) is coming from?

can't figure out how to post a screen shot but the snap up calculator shows FEB '16 0% APR '16 4.42% jan '17 0% jan '18 1% jan '19 4%
those are just the DL snap up numbers and don't include any raises coming via the extension.
I put the 18 % delta raise in for feb 0f 16 (their TA is backdated to January of 16) I think in reality if they sign in December we would receive 3% jan1 (part of the extension) then 4.42% starting February of '17. then the rest as above.

I had been under the impression it was 18/4/4/3 but I see now it's 18/3/3/4
