How much weight is given to an internal recommendation ?
Does it help to have several ? Or is it not looked at until your called for an interview ?

With a class of 20 starting yesterday, we're at 122 newhires YTD, with 48 remaining vacancies generated from last December's vacancy bid.
It appears as though the remaining vacancies are:
ANC 747: 29
ANC MD11: 1
ONT 757: 6
MIA 757: 3
SDF 757: 9
Hiring has a ways to go to get to "similar numbers as 2017"...

Nothing yet from Vegas on my end. Second career fair in a year so I’m hoping this one is the ticket...

[QUOTE=RickyBobby;2589236]Weight is unknown. A couple may be good, but numerous recs are probably overkill. Need recs pre-interview.

From FAPA event -
Hiring numbers will be less this year than last year
FQS positions going away slowly
UPS not interested in fighter pilots and RJ’s drivers.

Why should they when they have 5 MD11s and 2 767s being flown by contractors...how many pilots is that worth?

The UPS reps at FAPA in all likelihood don’t know anything more than the readers of this board. Atlanta makes all the decisions and they don’t value much of what anyone in the airline has to input.
