FQS is never a good deal no matter the environment.

I'm no Fan of FQS but everything is a good deal if u have to put food on the table and provide health and roof for your family...

No doubt!!

My only counterpoint would be how many FQS folks could of or were also hired for line pilot job but decided to “skip the line”. If a candidate interviews and is only offered FQS, then you have to look at all your options. I do know some “younger” FQS folks that got hired within the last few years that could of easily gone IPA, however, I will say those in this category have been pleasant to deal with.

I would rather work at Walmart than take a job as a FQS. Sorry, but that’s just the way those guys are looked at here.

I echo this also......hopefully a good environment will ensue shortly. One might regret their decision to accept the FQS job in pretty short order.

HR expects to hire through the end of the year. ATL hasn’t approved any further classes yet past May. Only CJOs sent out prior to COVID are being given class dates. As soon as ATL approves further classes, the pool will be drained.
