I expect this FOIB will be removed within a few weeks. In case you missed it, the WHO(which is corrupt as the day is long) came out with new guidance on the use of face coverings. Basically if you are healthy and showing no symptoms, DO NOT WEAR A MASK. Since the CDC usually follows the WHO, I expect yet another change in the useless mask policy. No wonder people have little faith in government guidelines.

The problem is...how do you know if you are sick. I am seeing numbers that many folks go through the sickness and never know.

I think it’s going to quite interesting to see if a second wave comes in a few weeks with all the protests and many people not really taking any precautions to protect themselves. I’m already seeing masks usage in my area go way down over the last week. I would say it was about 80/20 a few weeks ago and now is probably about the opposite. If there is no spike or second wave here soon, I think people will really start to go back to a normal way of living.

I think most people, at this point, understand who is at highest risk of poor outcomes and are reacting appropriately...especially with news about the prevalence of asymptomatic and very mildly symptomatic cases.
I also think people are pretty much 'over' the unprecedented shutdown of our economy and, largely, normal life given the data and facts and observations of the last three months.
Some news outlets are reporting increases in confirmed diagnoses since Memorial Day weekend, but the seven day average of official CDC data does not support that claim if you're looking at national totals (some states are experiencing a spike in both total number of daily cases and percentage of tests coming back positive).
Either way, the jobs report today is a very positive thing for the economy...
