Aug new hire class

Let us also try and remember not to indoctrinate are new folks into 1988 generation 1.0 thinking. Let us give them a chance to enjoy the job and decide for themselves. New hires don’t need to start off being jaded on day one. Give yourself 5 years and see how you feel. It’s been 5 years for me and I do love “the job”.
ups normally teaches one to be a good union member. Your short career so far has been the best 5 years of money and growth I have seen in my over 25. Provided for us by those hired in 1988. Nothing was given.
glad you are happy here, so am I. I also know who made it happen. Thanks IPA. !!

5 years here, 2 at another and another 10 somewhere else. ALPA, Teamsters, and everything in between. No doubt IPA is the best union that I’ve been a part of. But most here aren’t starting at their first airline and are very experienced pilots. Nothing is ever given at any airline. IPA is just exceptionally skilled at getting the job done where most union groups would flounder.
Completely agree. UPS is not unique in their disdain for their labor groups. However the IPA is extremely unique in their ability to get things done.
