The “break”, is a break in deliveries between the last 74-8 and the first of the next order for 19 76s. It’s a roughly 10-12 month break in deliveries. As part of the announcement of the 19 76s, the company also announced a training center expansion. The company appears to be committed to continuing the current pace of hiring for the foreseeable future. Past performance, YMMV, etc.

That was bad humor. I don’t think we are going to slow hiring anytime soon. Although they had a chance at the beginning of the pandemic to catch up a bit, and they chose to basically stop hiring for a few months due to their ultra conservative nature. In hindsight, I bet they wish they could have that one back.
