In the current hiring environment I suspect a lot of people who would normally stand pat are moving to their “dream” job and you will see a lot more movement between the top destination airlines.

I just did the four hour wait twice this week. The cherry on the cake was the lack of sanitation facilities while we waited. The food was marginally better than my previous trip, but still pretty egregious.

All true. We’re seeing folks coming here from the majors BUT some are also leaving us for other airlines. Within the last 6 months we had a guy who left for Delta (I think?) even though he’s already on second year pay. Said he’s ok with a pay cut if it meant better QoL. Don’t know all the circumstances but I think he lived in a delta domicile. A few have left for fdx.

In the end people need to do what they believe is best for them and for their families.

The Delta guy is in for a rude awakening. I am the first to say our schedules our horrible right now, but Delta folks are complaining big time about getting run into the ground. Heck even some Fedex guys are complaining schedules have deteriorated there as well. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side comes to mind. The optimizer seems to have landed everywhere.

Any latest class drops for UPS? Curious how many SDFZ and SDF 75/76 spots they have been having per class.

Each class has their own thread…class drops are contained within for each class..check em out

How does UPS assign seniority within each new hire class? Age/Lottery/SSN ??
