I'm disappointed. A ptt without an auto squelch means I hear chewing and breathing for half the flight, followed by a second half of me politely asking the other pilot to unlock his switch. Basically what we have is just a sticky ptt and not a real voice activated system.

Yeah, I’m aware of that. We haven’t taken delivery of the new planes so obviously it’s not a factor so far. We’re getting more airplanes that will potentially flying 7:45+ routes. Why would we not need more PRMs?

No 2 hr premium just JA until 36hr rest

Agreed. The 76 can’t do what the MD does international, but definitely can do 95% of our domestic flying.
