In November one of our resident experts started a thread with the title "Diesel to run out this week", I think just to stir up comments. The usual suspects bit and two plus months later our petroleum engineer geniuses are still discussing it. Incredible to me that only months earlier the same people were experts on vaccines, political strategy, economics, and foreign affairs.

Ah yes...sounds bout right..only a couple folks in the whole lot worth reading. I bet most union boards are similar tho...then add some retirees butting in with weird nonsense hijacking threads. Smh....But anyways.....back on topic.....any poolies got more questions/concerns?

Yes! thank you...

Is it reasonable to suspect that a new vacancy bid may drop prior to Summer? I'm not getting my hopes up, but I don't want to abandon all hope either.

There will almost certainly be another realignment bid later this year as MDs go away and 76s arrive. Whether that bid will contain vacancies for new hires is impossible to know.

Same question here. I’m planning on executing plan B in the meantime.

Depends also how early retirements pan out. I would think there would be more new hire classes later this year.

Well, hopefully the whole process doesn't reset when I update my employer.
