That's pretty funny! Not sure how you guys would react to more than two legs a day!

Pretty sure the contract states that as the number of engines goes up, the number of legs goes down. Plus, we’re so unreliable we probably shouldn’t fly further than Cleveland.

We gave Hurtsborne the benefit of the doubt that they chose their VTP numbers specifically to avoid a displacement / realignment. Z reserves haven’t been utilized much so not sure there’s a need to backfill…?

Really? I'm on the MD, doing LCO and not working. UPS doesn't like that. When half the VTO lines are LCO, realignment/displacement coming. Plus probably eight P&W's going to boneyard. And have 15 more after they go.

Because Z is growing with the 8 new deliveries, and that is just the beginning of 23. And the MD is shrinking. This isn't rocket science. The 767 will be replacements for the MD P&W's.

Sarcasm…It’s the lowest form of wit. I figured everyone here would see it. Oh, well. Factually, we agree. Now run out to Walmart and get a sense of humor.

bah humbug. “Our MD-11s have served us well since we took delivery of the first aircraft in 2001. They were a mainstay on international routes, and more recently have operated primarily in the U.S. We will begin replacing them with new, more efficient 767s, with deliveries set to begin later this year,” Jim Joseph, president of UPS Airlines, said in a statement provided to FreightWaves.

with the MD's gone, how much fleet growth will happen with the "new 767s" that are inbound
