I would avoid coming to UPS. During the Q1 2024 Earnings call Carol Tome stated "UPS will not be purchasing any additional aircraft" and will be "hiring less than 200 pilots". I'm not sure where UPS airline management came out with the 400 pilot number, but that was incorrect. There are better places to go in 2024. Unfortunately, UPS nor the IPA, isn't the "gold standard " it once was.

I don’t believe it is based on that. I put two weeks from the day I applied and still got it.. probably have to check the heavy type, MIL, or check airman box in order to get to “pending”

If you have a strong record Delta, United, or American will snap you up while you wait on UPS. If you really want to be here, just keep applying, accruing internal recs, and try talking to UPS at a job fair. Whatever you do, don’t turn down a good job because you are trying for the great job. You can always jump over later.
