Oof that hurts. Chasing the dream like that rarely works out. Things were bound to improve at AA when he left just like things will inevitably improve at FedEx. His bouncing around will cause him to miss both waves.

Default Any new hire classes/Interviews lately?

How many MD drivers are still waiting for classes? Any new hire classes or interviews lately?
I finished Hogan a few months ago, and my application is still active, but no emails or any updates for the last few months.

It's not clear how it will all pan out. The displacement bid is out, and everything kind of depends upon that. My best guess is that we'll see hiring maybe late this year or almost certainly early next. But I'm an amateur. @BoilerUP is the guy I would listen to.

Default UPS 2026 Hiring Info

Tom,
In all seriousness keep looking elsewhere. You don't want to be at the bottom here and get abused with displacements and domicile moves. If you want a peek into what kind of environment management creates talk to some of your buds here and see how we are treated. I don't see a new contract for another 18-24 months.

I really wish all this information was out there when I left the Major I was it to come here. I would have definitely stayed and go to a Legacy.

Unlike the past, I would never recommend anyone for a job here, safety is not a concern, just moving boxes.

I agree with the few comments above but unfortunately a lot of people will see them as just complainers.

With that being said if this is your #1 choice; interviews were happening as late as February. Idk about now but they do have a pool of people waiting to be put in classes. No hiring until next year is what I keep hearing and depending on the pool size it could be a few months into 2027 before they get butts in classes.

The reality is we need the extra bodies. On the domestic side we’re starting to see the same issues international crews are having. If there’s a gap to throw flying on a line holders schedule it’s happening.

Unfortunately until we get the training backlog cleared there’s no space to train. Even then if the powers that be in Atlanta see we can run the operation with a percentage of less crews we might not do that much hiring.

All that being said I really hope no one is passing a class date at other airlines waiting for UPS to call.
