Default UPS PHL ops

Is there any UPS pilots in PHL that can help me with how to get to/from cargo city from the main terminal? Especially early morning or late night. Thanks!

UPS doesn't park at Cargo City. They have their own hub on the south side of the airport. Certain hours of the day, there's a Septa bus that goes to the terminal, but I'm not sure how often it runs. I believe it's the 108. Check Septa.org for the best info on that. Otherwise, a cab or Uber is the other option.

Would anyone happen to have some updated information on what the best option is in this same scenario, five years later? I'm a Mil/Regional puke who just got shuffled to PHL as a domicile and will be commuting from SDF. Been to PHL tons of times, but I'm unsure how to make the trek between the Pax terminal and the UPS ops area.

If an Uber is the only way, so be it, but wanted to see if there was a better/faster/easier/cheaper way.

Thanks in advance for ANY info!

Cant use Uber from UPS parking to terminal because of their airport limitations but Lyft will work. Use either for term to UPS parking. Bout $12.

Lyft is probably your only option.

Also try taxi or if the inbound crew is going to the hotel, they probably wouldn’t mind dropping you at the terminal. Just tip the driver a 5er.

my opinion is not to ask the inbound crew for a ride to terminal as the terminal is not on the way. Just my opinion.

Uber has changed some airports where you can just add the address where you want to be picked up. Just did it in SLC last week. Was an issue in the past.

Are you saying PHL had changed to this policy?

Excellent point. Definitely gauge the inbound crew before if you’re inclined to ask - the extra 5 mins might be too much to for some accommodate. Seriously.
