Tell your friend to apply and find out, just saying

I've heard there's ten "giant" people in January 2017 classes here. That's probably 25+ since June of 2016, so it certainly doesn't appear to hurt.

Yeah, just ran into one of them. He finished his ioe a few months back. He's on Z (75/76 international)!which is what he was hoping for since he lives in TN.

I came here from Atlas in 2014. I believe the type rating and the fact that Atlas has been a UPS contract carrier over peak absolutely helped me get the interview. Quite a few prior Atlas hired since then.

We have had 5 new hires fail training. Whatever they have been doing in HR may be changing as a result.

Any idea what the new hires were failing at? That seems fairly high based off the limited numbers hired unless they are picking people based off of other than qualifications. Or maybe the testing is quite challenging? Any feedback is appreciated.

5 fail training or 5 leave / terminated for other reasons during training? With average total times pushing 9K it's unlikely there would be training problems.

From what I've seen and heard, training is a low threat environment. Put in the time, effort, and good attitude and you'll succeed.
