Reread my highlighted part of your post. It reeks with snowflake entitlement frustration.
The point I was originally going towards was that they hire extremely skilled/experienced pilots, yet still have a decent number of guys washing out. It's surprising considering other airlines do not hire with such a high requirement. It's funny considering the "pilot shortage". It's interesting that they can still have such high mins. It has nothing to do with my application. I was providing information about UPS hiring... like the title of the thread. I enjoyed my time with the recruiter who was helpful and honest and personally hired three of my coworkers recently. I'll keep updating with each additional TPIC hour I get with the hopes of one day getting the chance. |

Good luck with that. Maybe that recruiter can tell you how!
They can still be very picky. |

I meant he he can tell you how to update your resume. Seems impossible
Seems different for everyone! My file is "Active" and I can update the entire thing without a problem. Yet I have only 500TPIC. No idea what's going on there. |

You answered your own question. You are not competitive. UPS can choose to be choosy because it's a highly desirable airline to work for. They get way more applicants than positions available.

How many is that TPIC? Face it. You are not competitive. You left to go to a commuter to get TPIC. Come back when you are competitive.

For a guy like me who is looking to get hired at UPS the question then becomes: should I continue at a regional and obtain 1000 TPIC or should I bail for another carrier, such as Atlas or Kalitta, to obtain heavy time?
