Our options are diverse. What's best for someone living in SDF is far different than what a commuter might like. The single pay scale really improves quality of life by enable people to bid what they like as opposed to chasing the dollar.

Our new contract is bringing about changes to RSV utilization that will encourage people like myself to start flying a line. In the last few months, I've gotten called in almost every day, extended into days off, and had more 24/7 breaks in a hotel than in the past. These are not improvements to a RSV schedule QOL.
As far as the extensions into days off being "no chump change", that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Would you give up your day off for less than $1000, because its not always big money if the trip doesn't pay more than MPDP. Especially after taxes.

For the current bid period, the bottom 10 A300 FOs got the following schedules (reverse seniority, plug to 10 off bottom):
RSVA
RSVA
RSVA
Base Trip Line
RSVA
RSVA
RSVA
Split VTO (VTO first pay period, Base Trip Line second pay period)
RSVA
VTO
Generally speaking from personal experience and observation, the bottom ten on the Bus can expect RSVA or Base Trip Lines.

I'd have to look again, but the plug and a few more up probably got a base trip line on the SDF MD.
I'd wager that RSVA on the Bus is worse than the MD So it does go junior on that fleet.

In the Z for this bid period, there was 30 reserve lines, 40 VTOs and I believe only three base trip lines (I don't pay attention because I don't bid them).
Reserve is going junior. There used to be a handful of senior guys who bid reserve lines, but with the new extension rules, that seems to have tapered.
One regular line went to number 18 from the bottom I believe, a base line went to a guy six from the bottom, otherwise the bottom 20 were reserve awards (mostly 2 week on/2 week off schedules).

Boiler kinda did the same so I was sorta verifying that I wasn't imaging things. Not sure why he and I differ in what the bottom A300 guys got but he is much more detail oriented than I so I'll concede to his data.

Details ?
Like 13 months in a year. 28 days in a month. Its not a solar or lunar calendar, its just a UPS year.
The 35 day month is the worst. But its not on a leap year. I still haven't figured out when that's coming around again.
