Take a look at the hangar behind the Piper, Jet Blue, USAir, AW, and several other airlines have most of their Airbus mechanical work done there. El Salvador.
I don't know if the Piper was in transit to another country or working the local area. There are plenty of Volcanos, active and inactive within a thousand mile radius. Just thought I'd toss it out and see if anybody had any ideas.
Can't seem to bring up much info on the Canadian registration, any info on the registration may help.

No, that would be on the front. We are looking at the hensile of the prehensile tail. Most of us don't attribute such characteristics to mechanical objects, but in certain cases it is understandable. I don't think it takes batteries.
For a further expansion of these themes you may wish to review that cinematic masterpiece "The Big Lebowski" with special attention to the fantasy scenes involving bowling pins and doughnuts.

Probably one of the greatest movies ever... At least for one liners... And definately one of my favorites.

Me: "Oh really where does he live?"
