believe it or not it wasn't a big adjustment for me. I went from a glass RJ to the DC-9 and then to the Airbus so the bus was a piece of cake. Going from the RJ to the -9 was a leap but not hard by any means. Glass is just easier to look at but ultimately its all the same info but just in different forms. I'm going back to the -9 next month and i'm actually looking forward to it. I will miss the Air conditioning system on the bus though

I think it says "-9 engines" (see the white placards to the right).

The meaning is: "Don't think you have the big engines on this airplane, because you don't!"
