My post #15 on the previous page speaks to those particulars.

As an airplane, the little King Air does a few things better than does a VLJ, and vice versa on other counts. Neither fails to meet its mandate or purpose. Perhaps we can all agree the "golden age of the VLJ" was pretty much nonsense, but the reality is that 4-passenger jets are here to stay and are ideal for certain missions.

Yep that's my impression exactly!

Yep Cub, I've said that very exact same thing two or three times now on this thread. I totally agree with that.

I was in that very aircraft when I was giving demo flights for Diamond aircraft at oshkosh in 2008. Sad....
