Is it just me or do the Brits have a lock in some of the worlds ugliest airplanes. here is the Argosy Blenheim. There was one of these up at Fairbanks on Smoke jumper contract my first year flying for the BLM. Talk about fugly.

It is like one of those cheap toy airplanes. Parts of it vaguely resemble other airplanes, the dimensions seem distorted, and it looks like it would make a better boat than plane.

I would still feel like king of the props sitting on top of that though.

THe Brits build airplanes like they build sailboats - ugly but functional. The French build beautiful sailboats and airplanes - all disfunctional.
