TA
I realize the TA could be (probably is) still a long way off. The rates posted show years 1-12 with bumps at one, two and three years. Current APC shows 1-19 on Captain and 1-20 on FO.
Does the scale go beyond twelve years and how long is the contract or when is it amendable?

Financial food for thought concerning a 24 hour duty day for military flights.
The military pays Kalitta/Atlas $5000.00 PER flight hour PER crewmember to operate those legs. They also pay for any positioning/depositioning fuel to their next stop so the companies can be in the best position to profit AFTER that leg. They intentionally schedule the longest flights possible to profit the most from the DOD. Ever wonder why you can't just go DWC-XXX-DWC?
So how much of that money do you see in your paycheck?
Kalitta/Atlas pilots get a pathetic override for flying these. A less then 24 hour duty day might actually put more money in your pockets....with the right contract language.
Stay the course, stay united, and direct your anger where appropriate.

Sounds like the whole group has lost their mind. Looking to vote in something that is sub par. Must be management throwing the idea of decertifying the union because even a scab knows that not having a union working for that old wacker would be suicide. How the heck do they think they will survive and even attract anyone when that company has so much baggage? Cannot see how a 747 type rating is of any value yet alone working at K4 with all their problems.

Craf carriers are not paid for positioning/de-positioning flight legs on round trip AMC missions. They are paid ferry mileage to the next live sector on one way missions.
DWC-Afghan-DWC was flown by K4 under a separate DOD contract. With the draw down of troops from Afghanistan this flying is negligible and no longer supports basing a aircraft at DWC.

Didn't you know that everybody in aviation has a "secret inside source" that they can't tell anybody who it is, but they spout all kinds of "inside information" they heard from said secret source?
