Kalitta Air now accepting FO applications

So what I am reading is that some pilots think we are stuck here at the mercy of Dan Wells. Do you not think that it may be better to de-certify the Teamsters after obtaining a binding letter from the company stating that they will honor the TA?. The time line above regarding new union implementation looks about right for the time line we would be on anyway if we signed a contract today under the Tamsters

A. I know you are not and I did not take it that way. I am not suggesting that we take a particular course either. Just putting ideas out there for discussion. I imagine that there are probably some people who believe what we discuss here actually will happen😀 My Negotiating Team still speaks for me. My issue is soley with the blocking of my ability to vote on a TA that you and our current Negotiations Team crafted in good faith. This current situation is incredibly distasteful to me. Congrats on the new job I hear. I am very happy for you

Just heard swa has a new TA. I know about two dozen dudes here at K4 that going for the meet and greet, myself included. I am sure there are more that but they hadn't told anyone. But rest assured, the flood gates out of K4 will open wide since the teamsters are proving to be unable to make a deal

The hangup from what I gather is the 24 hr duty. I have learned that most of the military charters is planned upon a 24hr duty day. Wouldn't that lead to less work if the duty day was reduced to less than 24hrs? It seems to fit what K4 does with the military work but is different what Atlas seems to do. Still trying to take this all in and formulate an opinion. I have also been trying to figure out the other minor details that are hanging up the an agreement.
I have no vote on this but I am trying to educate myself on what is going on with the negotiations since it affects my future and what the current guys are fighting for.
I saw the company letter with all the juicy tidbits they were offering. Honestly it didn't look bad but I am sure they left out the most important details in order to sell a contract. Been through this with ALPA a few times.
The sooner this is sorted out the better! I will quit flying before I go back to the regionals. I finally got out and don't want to go back!
What I don't understand is the lack of communication? Everytime someone took a dump at ALPA we got an email.
