I interviewed last week and it was a mixture of applicants. I know they are not requiring the 500 PIC multi anymore, and I know of at least 2 RJ FOs who got a interview recently. Very laid back interview, and they seem to be growing steadily, but slowly.

Lots of CRJ/ERJ FOs getting hired...typically over 5,000 hours I believe. The interview process is in transition as you've read with cognitive and technical interview stuff now. I suspect it's still laid back and like always, if you have been invited to interview, they want to hire you and offer a class date soon!

To those interviewing, the process has changed. Now an email for interview with a short version of the Hogan initially. Then on game day the 3 part interview in MSP consists of an HR panel interview, a thorough logbook review and technical interview, and a computerized cognitive assessment. Thanks to all those who helped me with info and good luck to future interviewees!

I would also take an initial pay cut going to a legacy or fedex. You gotta look at the long term. If you upgraded in three years from now the pay is 130 an hour for 3 year Capt. Not sure how many regionals pay that. Second year pay is pushing 80 bucks an hour in 2017. Hopefully you get the nod and then can make a good decision. It's a pretty nice gig if you live in the twin cities.

It's got some good points and some less good points. But I'm enjoying it for the most part. So far I haven't been able to partake in any open time flying but I hope that will change soon.
The $48/hour and not breaking guarantee definitely keeps things tight.
But other wise, yeah, the work is mostly pretty nice and I'm enjoying the people too.
I hope I'm reading the pay wrong... I'd love it to be closer to $80/hour when I hit year two pay this coming spring.
