As hard as it is to imagine, yes we do and they come in both flavors I've heard, and that's why there's two of us...
Some just live in an alternate universe with different physics, or they stayed at a Holiday Inn Express ;-)

Might consider a call to Pro-Stans. Someday this clown could get paired with a newhire or less assertive FO and have a much worse outcome.

Hey Fellas,

I've got 69 hours for the month so far -- on reserve, with a raw score near 150 and in the third bucket. What are my obligations? At what point can I say I'm done for the month?

My best answer without looking it up is when you're within 1:59 of the ALV for your category, you can call scheduling and get released. They can't send you over ALV unless you put in a YS. 2 hours is the min day guarantee, so if you're within 2 hours of ALV, you can call and get released for the month.

I would call though, not just fall off the grid

I know I've already said it twice, but make sure you're looking at the ALV and NOT guarantee (70 hours).

I've never flown with a guy like that. My experience is that everyone is super cautious with ice, and rightly so.

George,

I suppose we do...... At least I don't have to fly with them!! (My FO's might but I don't have to!)

Thanks Lein,

Looks like I'm a few hours short. Does that mean I'm stuck in the 1 day bucket, or can they assign me whatever they want?

Also, isn't it going to be hard for me to YS if I'm in the third bucket?
