Freedom did rip Delta off for a few million, which greatly diminished their claims of Delta malfeasance. Sleepy Ed's Department wrote the checks. Perhaps with a bit better rest he would been able to catch that money before it went out the door.
Pinnacle's reorganization plan outlines Delta's management of PNCL:
At mainline we have enjoyed a benevolent attitude from management. However, we should view Comair and now Pinnacle as a measure of what (in some cases the same people) are capable of. IMHO, a regional who does not have its own code always runs this risk. None the less, my thoughts are with these fellow members of our union and it is hoped each and every one that needs a job, finds better than what they have now.
- 13 week operating plan and 1 year budget to be approved by Delta weekly
- That plan REQUIRES labor cuts
- If negotiated cuts are not successful, the plan REQUIRES PNCL seek rejection of the contracts through 1113
- US Air, United and Saab flying down by end of 2012. EAS flying down by June
- While the agreement provides 4 and 1/2 years on the CRJ200 flying, Delta can terminate for any breach (which Delta can unilaterally declare) and / or as the financing for each individual aircraft comes up.
- CRJ 900's going to another operator

2. About those negotiators, tell me again why we don't use professionals that are supported with pilots?
3. Glad the DC is in our own names as I don't think for a second that they would not use BK as a tool in the future if conditions permitted it.
Lots of purple TSRA's in DFW.
Word is there is a huge push for a complete TA to present to the MEC in May.

There were some ALPA guys in the MSP crew room saying the exact same thing. Don't know if the big push is ALPA or the company. They did say, however, that the company approached ALPA first to begin negotiations early.
They have apparently been meeting face to face weekly since the exchange of the openers. Lots of people tied up trying to get a comprehensive deal done quickly.
Has anybody ever seen this? I've got my brother on a buddy pass from SFO to NRT tomorrow. The flight's looking open, but the business class seats have some odd numbers. Here it is...
It shows 26 available, but only authorized to 4. What's up with that? Could it be weight restricted? I've never seen this before on a flight. The authorized seats are usually higher than the available. Any ideas?
