Unfortunately, that doesn't make you a big guy in today's environment. I have you beat on both of those numbers. We were told that if he were assigned the Phenom and were concerned about the fit, that they would do a fit check to verify that it would not be an issue. I don't think the Challenger will be an option for new hires. I think that we only had one pilot that was actually already typed in the airplane that they were assigned, but they do consider it in their assignments.

How do they pick who goes to what airplane? Age or last 4 of SS?

They choose seniority by age, but seniority does not seem to be factored into initial aircraft assignments.

Does anybody who received the last round of calls know the number of thanks but no thanks from your interview class? Did everybody that did the sim evaluation get a phone call?

Everyone in our group made it to the sim. One person was called a few days later and told thanks but no thanks. One person I have no contact with and so I'm not sure. And the others were offered a job. There were five of us total.

Congratulations to those who have been hired. Do you have a class date? Would some of you mind posting a time line of: application, calls, interview dates? Also do you fly in the night before and fly out the same day after the sim? Looking at three days total needed for the whole travel/interview process?

Thanks.

Still waiting for a call...

April 13 class for me. I applied late December, did phone interview early February, went to columbus early March, and was offered a position last week. Yes, allow three total days for the interview process. Fly in night before day one.
