Do you get drug tested on a regular basis? When did airplane size come into play when it comes to pay?

I would strike if this contract, in its entirety, sucks and is poorly written. Just because you have low self worth and do not feel as though your professionalism should be compensated appropriately, does not mean you are right.

Could that have an effect on hitting? I don't know.

Obviously the big raise is due but where do guys get SWA from? Considering they are paid by the trip (hourly) and NJA is salary I don't really see an apples to apples comparison unless the plan is to go to an hourly based rate for pay.

I hope that isn't what is slowing the hiring but I do think the late aircraft deliveries are driving that bus more than anything else... (or at least that's what I'm hoping)

No doubt, but compare apples to apples not to watermelons. That said, how many months have you been there now?

Are you trying to judge me like I can't read, can't conceptualize history, or can't understand a company's struggle for its pilot group to get what I/we deserve because I am relatively new? I didn't compare NetJets to ANYTHING so don't rope me into the Delta +1% salary cheerleaders. Don't judge a new hire when you're an outsider and have zero idea. And if you are judging me and you are a NetJets pilot, then you are doing it wrong.

Not you, but the very idea any fractional operator would/could match Legacy airline pay rates. The pure cash volume precludes that.

Hey, if I was a new hire there, I'd be lobbying for the biggest pay raise possible too. Just don't expect SWA +1%. That's not even reasonable.

The per hour revenue streams are very close when you compare an average NetJets flight to a typical SWA flight, even on small fleet types. This is where that notion comes from. This isn't a fly by night charter outfit.... The revenue is there. Delta just turned down their TA, should they approve it because people on an internet forum have decided they don't deserve more?

What flavor is that Kool-Aid?

That said, keep shooting for the moon. That's what it takes to get over the fences sometimes.

Are you intimately familiar with the mission? If you know so much about how NetJets operates, please tell us what we should be paid.

Oh, calm down. Don't take things so personally. You're a newbie and still excited to be there. We all were there once no matter what side of aviation you're on.

I'm just suggesting you keep your expectations reasonable. That way, if they're exceeded you'll be pleasantly surprised. Conversely, if they're not, you won't be too disappointed.

That's all. Lighten up, Francis.
