Default Walk ins

Sorry guys, but walk ins don't carry the weight they used to. Part of the "new improved NJA" is the new "talent acquisition" dept, who lack the vision that a pilot recommendation should be a big bat. So, cracking the code is still a mystery. Good luck.

I believe that is correct. They sent an email saying they were hiring for the Phenom and I had to do some physical measurements...turns out I'm too big for the Phenom so I have to wait until a larger plane becomes available.

Also, for those of you who want to interview make sure you are brushed up on your hand flying skills. In my interview group of 6, 5 made it to day two and my sim partner got the TBNT call on Friday after the interview. Unfortunately it was because of hand flying the sim. The sim is the CE605 (or at least was recently) and they have you hand fly a SID and then go do some steep turns. After that you can use the AP but not the AT. So if your scan is slow or you're not used to hand flying it can bite you. If you're an autopilot on at 400' type of pilot I'd definitely suggest doing some "real flying" before showing up for an interview.

There was an open bid for phenom first officers yesterday. Assuming those go unfilled, maybe they will roll to new hires.

I can only assume that a Phenom 300 FO bid will go unfilled internally lol.
