When do you find out what airplane you're assigned to? Day 1 of indoc, or later?

We did not find out until day 4 and then some of the assignments changed the next week because of sim availability.

Their were two guys that were assigned to the Hawker that weren't going to be able to be scheduled for initial training until May. They wound up moving one of them to the Sovereign and one to the Encore+, so that they could get them into training faster.

It is possible that you could be reassigned all the way up to the point that you start initial at Flight Safety.

All furloughed pilots have received recall letters. They're getting the last of them through training now.

Does this mean all the furloughed pilots that haven't come back are no longer allowed back?
