You were given the Hilton Garden Inn?? Dis is some boochit!! We were put in the Staybridge and we didn't like it. Maybe our complaints worked. We stayed in the Hilton Garden Inn for our interviews though.

 

No I meant we stayed at the HGI for interviews. Hopefully your complaints did work and we get it for indoc ��

To the guys who have already interviewed, what is the dress code for the SIM?

You guys getting two weeks of KoolAid or 8 days like us recalled folks?

 

A full two weeks.

 

I'm scheduled to interview 3/9 so if anybody else will be there that day, I'd love to talk things over with you. For those concerned about the phone interview, don't be. My impression is these guys seem to just want to know they could spend a week in a close confined space with you.

Any advice on these upfront concerns?
-I live 2 hours from the nearest of the 100 NJ gateway airports. Is this aspect currently being negotiated in the new contract? The company I am currently with allows any airport with airline service (5 minutes from house) but it lends a Long 15/13 schedule with low pay.
-Do NJ pilots generally fly out on the first airline 6 am flight starting the tour and last back in after the tour? The 2-2:30 am wake up for a two hour drive once a week will get old if that is consistent and will make for a long 16 hour "duty" day out of the gate. (14 duty + 2 hour drive to domicile)

I am very excited about the interview, just looking at the biggest negatives for myself and family. NJ seems like an awesome place to work especially compared to many other 135 gigs out there. Good luck to all of you and I'm looking forward to meeting you.
