NetJets Interview Gouge

There are two different 18 day schedules, the 18 day training and 18 day fixed. Both pay the same.
While you are in initial training you will be put on the 18 day training schedule. You will get contractual days off after indoc and then after your sim training is complete.(I don't remember how many off the top of my head) At that time you can request a 7/7 line, the company does not have to give it to you. If you do not request or do not want a 7/7 line you will remain on the 18 day training schedule until the completion of IOE. Every evening by 1800L you must check your company iPhone to see if the next day is a duty day. If you have nothing on your iPhone you must call in by 1900L to check in.
After you complete a training trip you will get contractual days off, 5 days off after 8 on, 4 days off after 7 on, 3 days off after 6 or less days on. Then you start checking the iPhone and calling in every evening again.
The 18 day fixed schedule is different. You put your preferences in the computer and are awarded a schedule by the 15th of the month prior. This schedule is fixed and cannot be changed. Your trips will usually be 4-7 days long with one trip of 8 days every bid period.
Only 40% of the pilots in each fleet and seat may be awarded the 18 day fixed per bid period. We have 3 bids periods per year. They start on 02/01, 06/01 and 10/01. The 10/01 bid is know as the flush bid. All schedules in this bid are by seniority and you can and probably will be bumped off of whatever schedule and/or line you are on until you have some relative seniority in your fleet.

So it is similar to an airline bid in that you have a preset schedule by the 15th of the prior month that shows what 18 days you will be working the following month. Which results in 10-12 days off a month with 3 to 4 days off at a time. Did I understand MWilliams correctly?
