It was 4 days for me. They will notify either way, so no news is in fact good news

Did any of you guys do a practice sim?
Several of my friends have done them for United interviews, just wondering what the common trend was for Netjets.

I think it depends on your experience and recency as well as familiarity with glass cockpit. I haven´t flown a jet in 4 years (currently flying SE piston with steam gauges) and I didn´t do a practice sim.
I did fly a very similar glass cockpit before so the transition wasn´t hard.
If you are current (even better if in a glass cockpit) and have decent handflying skills, you have nothing to worry about in my opinion. It is a very straight forward sim evaluation with absolutely no tricks.

I agree. As the sim instructors told us, "just relax, the hard part is over (meaning getting to the 2nd day). You should know how to fly an airplane if you made it this far."

If you have jet time and especially any glass cockpit time then you'll be totally fine. The profile is VERY basic. They are looking for some basic stick and rudder skills and good CRM. My sim partner and I did some chair flying beforehand to practice NJ callouts and get comfortable with each other, so I would recommend doing that. It would be a waste of money to rent a sim IMHO.

Any updates from the last interview group? What about updates from the new hire class?

How many were in the class, what were their backgrounds, Aircraft assignments, upgrade estimates, the usual stuff.

16 in the class. Various backgrounds, mostly 135, no aircraft assignments yet although they did show us what they initially needed yesterday, however it sounds like that has slightly changed, which is why we haven't been assigned aircraft. Upgrade estimates? Nobody is even asking that...

Thanks for the info. What was the initial aircraft drop and did they say why it changed?
