Or reach up between the seats and press the recline button. Its easy. I do it all the time in situations like this. Or if the offender got up to use the lav, as people do on a twice-hourly basis for some reason on airplanes.

I prefer to hammer down on the back of their seat with my knees and provide the thoughtless tool with a nice constant light to moderate chop for their flying pleasure. Therapeutic for my legs also.

Totd is me for not realizing "guard" didn't refer to national guard frequency. I explained to all my Canadian FOs that the US pilots listen to "guard frequency."...ya none of us do that up here.
I flew to Olathe from Canada yesterday, and I couldn't believe how often I'd hear the guard Nazis. I was thinking to myself "so this is what I read about on totd..."
