Finally some good news. Let's hope it's not temporary.

Good first step. Hopefully those lower than S-word dirt bags get permanently denied.

Awwww. That's so sad. I almost fell out of my wheelchair when I heard the news.

Does this mean the FLL customs fiasco will ease a bit now that they are not going to be dropping two 787s full of people

The denial was for the "exemption" which was essentially the temporary permit to operate NAI pending a final application.

The next goal is to make sure the actual application is denied, so we have to redouble the efforts to make sure it is squashed also.

WRT the "FLL customs fiasco", the current Norwegian flights are operated by NAS using Norwegian crews, and as such there is no prohibition or objection to that service. NAS is following all EU-US laws and treaties.

The "Irish Airline" of NAI is the version that is now denied access.

Reading some of the reactions to the denial, it's funny that the same people who cry foul at companies like Walmart and scream bloody murder at the idea of CEOs making $$$ on the backs of cheap labor are the same ones upset that NAI was denied. They seem to have no problem looking the other way so long as they get their $150 LHR fares.

The Fll customs is a disaster when that 787 lands . Last week I got held for 2 1/2 hours stuck in the plane not allowed to enter the building cause they couldn't hold any more people ...... It's as if customs didn't know this thing was coming . ! It's a scheduled flight

They could fly the flight to Miami where they have the customs capacity but the costs would be higher.
