I actually doubt that. I suspect that the tests may reflect what some HR or consultant type thinks the company culture SHOULD be, not what it really is. They may be trying to stack the personality deck in order to mold their future pilot group. Probably well intentioned (ie looking for safety-conscious team players) but possibly Machiavellian... looking for folks who are just happy to get paid to fly and will roll over for the company.

Sorry to hear about the Hogan failure, I'm sure it really stings. Fortunately there are other fish in the sea, and if you qualified for UAL to call then you qualify for all the others. Trust me, they will call at some point.

I know a few that have taken it a 2nd time and did not "fit/pass" again. In addition to another TBNT email, UAL sends a "we can no longer process your application/good luck with your career" email a few days after that. So there is a limit, at least currently, on the amount of times they will let someone take it.
But just like someone else on here said, you will find a better fit for you in no time. It stings now, but you will most definitely land on your feet and be very happy somewhere.

I don't think the test is "Pass-Fail".
It is a PERSONALITY test.
You cannot Fail to have a personality, but I've seen a few who certainly tried!
The 'test' is to tell the tester what -type- of personality you have. Then they decide if that's the type they want to hire.
One company may want to hire only Type A, another might want Type B, some may want Type C, etc.
