Just got back from AMS. See if you can get the loads from a buddy. helps a lot. I used Delta a couple of times. Going out never an issue. Coming back, not having the loads took 3 tries, having the loads first shot. Delta in AMS can be a hassle. United much easier. Won't go in the summer either.

If your wife is a cass approved pilot. Just take atlas or Polor or some cargo company that lets you international js. It's kind of a far fetched plan but if you have that privledges as a couple use it

Anyone ever bought a ZED ticket on Condor? I can't seem to do it on MyIDtravel, I looked at flyzed.info and what info was posted there was pretty much useless. I also tried calling my CO's employee services and got nowhere fast.

They come up when you log on as Delta. The agreements are programmed into myidtravel so when you login it won't let you pick any airline that doesn't have an agreement with your airline. For example, BA does not show up as a ZED airline for Delta.

Buy your wife and yourself a ticket. We as pilots are used to the stress of non-rev travel. Wives traveling with infants are already under enough stress.

Starting a vacation under a miserable cloud of possibly not going on vacation is just not worth the savings. If that makes it too expensive to go then don't go.

At any rate best of luck to you regardless.
Agreed, the stress isn't worth the savings!!

What about buying a ticket for your spouse and jumpseating? I bought a ticket for my wife to London and I am planning to Jumpseat. Is that a bad idea?
