as for the interview, just study the profile on pearlaviation website, and you'll be fine (i didn't have the chance to do the simprep either, but i studied the profiles and did just fine). they are strong on CRM, so they will be studying your personality. most of the questions are HR, with maybe few on your ME. yes, right now you'll be seating reserve long time, but AWAC is a great company with a solid future and a very good contract. i'll rather be here than in most of the regionals out there. if you leave in the northeast it could be the right choice for you. and thigs will pick up here as well, with the major and everyboy else hiring. good luck with your interview!

8 yrs left on the USAir contract is not solid enough for you??? Besides, I am sure something else will come up. Sorry to hear AWAC is not up to your standards, but if it is quick upgrade time you're looking for, then I'll suggest you start looking somewhere else. I suggest colgan....

AWAC is what it is. The best part of this company is the people who work here. We have lots of good pilots and more importantly, really fun, knowledgeable pilots.
The pilot group is the strength of this company. So from that perspective you will have a good time here. Things operationally are tough at the moment, but we lean on each other and even though I had a really, really, really cruddy day yesterday, I ended the last flight laughing all the way to the hotel. After a 15+ hour duty day.

And on their bathroom mirror.
And on their car dashboard.
In my interview I was told upgrades were 22 months...and I fully expected my upgrade to be at least double that. Current returns are not indicative of future results...
