There are guys here who had three weeks off after systems and there are others I know who had almost 2.5 months off after systems before they were called in for CPT and Sims. Of course getting paid your 75 hour/min guarantee, have access to benefits the entire time, and building seniority. I think by the time some were online, they were able to skip reserve and hold a line.

I believe most regionals are experiencing some kind of delay in their training programs the worst of which being Piedmont.

From the people I have talked to, they are still getting you into an Indoc class in 1-3 months from date of hire. Basically, whatever fits your life the best. They can get 12-25 person classes through Indoc and Systems fairly efficiently, but Cockpit procedures and Sim is still the choke point. Yes, there is a 2 week to 2 month lag between Systems and Cockpit Procedures. They are already running those sims some 20 hours a day between new hire and recurrent sessions. Many recurrent people are on the 10p-2a time slot just to work around new hires. They only have so many machines, teachers, and hours in the day. Start to finish ... 4-5 months.
