If this is honest, an extra 500 a year is nice to have if you work min 75hrs. Work more make more if you so choose. If this is sarcastic, Other regionals are hiring with big sign on bonuses and better pay $$$. Always welcome to lose your seniority and work under a CBA with health insurance and work rules that suck the life and pay out of you anyways. Beggars can’t be choosers, take what’s better cherish it and fight another day!

I'm no longer mad at the company about this, I'm mad at the MEC for convincing the majority of the pilot group to go this and at the pilot group for accepting their this as a representation of their worth and time to the company. We are literally slapping ourselves in the face...

You literally just said to cherish and extra $80 a month to fly a multi million dollar jet with 50 people stuffed in it.

You said it, 50 people, we fly one of the smallest regional jets in the world. The pay is not as good as some other 50 seat rates from AAG and EDV however its competitive with hourly rate and total compensation when not including bonuses ect. Straight pay, benefits, and work rules our definitely better than most regionals minus EDV and Republic. Those two definitely lead the industry in Contact and pay. They also fly bigger metal. If you know the industry the bigger the metal the more the pay. Do your time and go Big.
They spent nearly a decade of “negotiations” to keep current book with a minor raise. Think about that. Every other airline has rigs and cancelation pay these days. We are still lowest min day and at the bottom of per diem. Other airlines are up to date actually paying for the full cost of luggage and uniforms while we maintained a 10 year old fixed reimbursement. Lacking paid commuter hotels. The list can go on but just keep telling yourself this is such a great thing. It was sold to the second half of the seniority list and they bought it.

Who cares what the size of the airplane is. Your logic is flawed and your facts aren’t correct aside from healthcare.
