Yup because immigrants just want to run to America and take American jobs. That’s our whole aim right? Maybe we’re willing to put in the hard work and sacrifice unlike some bums sitting in their parents basement watching Fox News or thinking they’re superior or entitled first because they were born in America.

This is a nation of immigrants like myself and millions of others before us, and there’s not a damn thing Trump or his base can do about it. People like me didn’t come here to steal an American job, we earned it and if an American born citizen didn’t get the job it’s because he/she didn’t make the grade.

If someone can enter this country legally and be willing to work hard and contribute to the system then they have all the rights to equal opportunity.

Hey what if other countries adopted this garbage thinking and said jobs should go to locals first not expatriates aka Americans or other nationalities? I bet you’d hate that wouldn’t you because you’re entitled aren’t you or spew rubbish like “oh look at them they hate Americans.”

I’m embarrassed there are people this ignorant flying professionally at my airline. They’re living in America, paying American taxes, supporting the American economy. You want to prevent hiring in the future? Sure. But demanding revoking their green cards now? you’re just wanting to take away jobs from people solely because they were born somewhere else because you didn’t prepare for a downturn. Meh he's just being a protectionist, its what happens when someones own inadequacies are laid bare as a result.of years of entitlement and complacency. Protectionist gotta ask himself if America is about bootstrapping your way up (equal opportunity merit based system) OR entitlement based on identity (heritage, color, sex, religion, who you screw, etc).

Anyone who's been through the legal immigration process in this country has been through a helluva ringer and should be lauded. I wish all our citizens had to pass a civics test.

UA said nothing really about UAX in their town hall today, but they were beating the "get ready for furloughs" drum hard. I really thought SK was gonna cry which...well it's doesn't inspire confidence.

Personally, I don't see how they permanently cut UAX in favor of mainline medium term. It's down gauging in a time of low demand, and it's cheaper labor. Why am I wrong?
