Go into CSS, under reports there’s an option for “reserve list”. Just peruse that for a few days. I’m rarely seeing short call people used and that’s without all the IAD/CAE refugees we’ll have next month.

I'd expect not to get used much. I'd strongly recommend a crash pad or straight up moving to the area if your circumstances allow

oh hell no way I can’t afford to move there on first year FO pay and that’d also mean selling the house and uprooting from here plus my wife would have to leave her job which is stable.
I’m hoping there’s LC lines and if it’s reserve I’ll shack up with a relative there on those days but I’m looking for a full time job. Yes I hope things improve soon but hope and measly pay won’t help with bills and a mortgage.

you have been asked by your employer to work reduced hours due to corona virus. You are not on paid leave or paid absence. You are doing a reduced hour schedule due to covid. This makes you under-employed.

There are thousands of voluntary underemployed who are collecting unemployment right now. Company says we need x people to take reduced hours due to covid or we will have to fire. Those that take the reduced hours due so on their own but are still eligible for underemployment unemployed. If the company needs them they have to come back. When the state asks the company for the record the question is “has x employees hours been reduced” and notice how the company says they won’t dispute unemployment but they will verify employment.
