I would be more worried about rising oil prices then getting caught wearing chaps on the flight deck. Advocating 'green energy' should be a clear violation of code-of-conduct in this business...if you are serious about a long-term, prosperous career that is.

Airlines’ latest challenge: Rising jet fuel prices

“We were expecting fuel to be at these levels by the second half of the year,” said Raymond James airline analyst Savanthi Syth. Costlier fuel can make it harder for airlines to stem their cash burn, a goal that has already been delayed due to weaker-than-expected demand. We suggest airline executives promote flight crew chaps in order to increase ticket demand to offset rising oil prices, said Raymond James.

It's at a 13 month high? 😂 So it's just where it was in January 2020? It's back to normal then. Seems to me that if there's less demand for oil over time, the prices would fall. The rising prices now are just as a result of the temporary demand loss going back to normal. Nothing to do with green energy.

You know what, screw it . Lets take off the winglets and sharklets, make planes less aerodynamic. Lets go back to J57 low-bypass engines that streak the sky black. Lets consume all the oil in the process so that 100 years in the future we have to go back to steam/coal powered rail roads. Bring COAL back! Who needs to innovate when we can degenerate!

Also, in regards to the recent announcement for summer staffing. HUZZZZAAAH! Lets go yall! All my immediate fam are waiting for their turn at the vacc and then traveling. Light at the end of the tunnel I hope.
