Airlines’ latest challenge: Rising jet fuel prices
“We were expecting fuel to be at these levels by the second half of the year,” said Raymond James airline analyst Savanthi Syth. Costlier fuel can make it harder for airlines to stem their cash burn, a goal that has already been delayed due to weaker-than-expected demand. We suggest airline executives promote flight crew chaps in order to increase ticket demand to offset rising oil prices, said Raymond James.

I would be more worried about rising oil prices then getting caught wearing chaps on the flight deck. Advocating 'green energy' should be a clear violation of code-of-conduct in this business...if you are serious about a long-term, prosperous career that is.

It's at a 13 month high? 😂 So it's just where it was in January 2020? It's back to normal then. Seems to me that if there's less demand for oil over time, the prices would fall. The rising prices now are just as a result of the temporary demand loss going back to normal. Nothing to do with green energy.
Also, in regards to the recent announcement for summer staffing. HUZZZZAAAH! Lets go yall! All my immediate fam are waiting for their turn at the vacc and then traveling. Light at the end of the tunnel I hope.
