we need all the freekin’ help we can get . We are burnt out on 12-13 hour work days and 10 hr rest. Maybe if the staffing picks up we can actually be able to get drops approved to get away from some of that crap

You obviously never flew under the old rest rules or forgot. Yes I remember those days but it’s not always better at mainline. 3 legs 13 hours on duty to a 12 hour overnight.

Maybe if you hadn’t spent the last year trashing the future of this place we’d have a few more new hires by now... Kinda shot yourself in the foot there.

Whether or not you agree with mine is a mute point . Look back through the threads , you’ll probably find plenty more people’s opinion on this place that you might not agree with.
Besides, my opinion has no bearing on what management does or does not do .That’s a fact .

Zw is a descent place to work . Does management always have our best interest heart? Of course not , but that’s just reality anywhere you go .
The main thing here is old , tired ac without a definite plan in place going forward. Adding the 7/9 is good , but unless another carrier goes under or they buy someone, there isn’t any room at any of the big 3 for 70 plus Seat ac . So that’s an issue all in it’s own.
Other than that , healthcare is good, schedules are crappy and scheduling will test your temperment more often than not .
Once again , just my opinion.

Did United extend the agreement with Air Wisconsin, or just reserve the right to extend if they choose to when the contract expires? Last story that I found said that the agreement was good through early 2023 and United could extend for a minimum of something like two more years if they wanted to. Has anything changed? If not, attracting new hires with that hanging over everyone’s heads could be difficult.
