Are we all shooting from the hip?
i don’t know anything about the plane and I know it has its own type certificate….
If you want a 550 which has its own certificate you have to talk to Mitsubishi.

care to share the stc number? Casual look at the fed website didn't produce any results
No dog in the fight other than curiosity. Also "gojet" and "transstates holdings" don't hold any stc's for anything.

It is more correct to say that the person who paid Bombardier or whoever else to do the work owns the STC, and from what I've heard, that's G7.

AW will likely not be able to get 550s as that would create a competitor to G7, unless Hulas and AW agree to a merger, because everyone knows Hulas wants out of the business and that may be the leverage he uses to get a merger done (i.e. "I won't sell you the STC, but if you agree to buy out G7, the STC will go with the sale and you get to keep flying").

I would expect some kind of merger or buyout between AW and G7 in the next year, and certainly before AW's CPA with UA is up.

Okay, let's forget the fact that we can see who the STC was issued to in this thread.

There is no ****ing way OO or Mesa would have gotten into any of this if Hulas owned the STC. There's also no ****ing way UAL would be stupid enough to let Hulas own the STC.
