You will get a call with those times, any chance you can get 15 more multi? It will improve your chances 1000 percent.

I've pretty much given up on AWAC. I've applied with them three times and never gotten a call. I guess teaching CRJ-200 at a 142 training center with 600 hours instructing in the thing and a full CL-65 type isn't enough.

What is your total flight time and total multi-engine flight time?

What is your recent flight time as well? I was turned down for an interview at AWAC with 1700/430, but didn't have a recent job or lots of recent time.

About 400/70, and 45 hrs of level D CRJ-200.

That's why I was turned down by Comair. Last year I was in a position where I couldn't fly for about 4 months, which made my yearly totals pretty sad. If my upcoming ASA interview doesn't work out, I've got a few students lined up which will get me back in the game. I've been spending WAY too much time teaching in the sims recently (~80 hrs/month).

You don't even meet our mins there chief. Most of the people getting hired below mins. have internal recs, and/or at least 500 total time.

To get hired here you need to increase your total and multi time.

I came from a 121 training department prior to AWAC and had nearly 500 hours of level C/D simulator experience and while that certainly helped me through training, knowledge of the airplane and being able to properly do a maneuvering stall won't necessarily help you flying the line. It sucks, but believe me, its the truth. Have you considered an instructor job here? I think you get a line number after a year or so...

Get yourself flying again and continue to update your resume. Good luck!!!

Yeah, I know. I also had an internal rec. so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Sometimes I just don't understand it. I didn't get a call, but I know someone who just got hired there with 240 TT and less than 100 ME.

The posted mins by the regionals dont mean dog crap. I know several guys who got hired with around 260TT and less than 20ME. Just keep banging on their door, call them, send them letters until you get a response. How has your luck been with other regionals?
