I've pretty much given up on AWAC. I've applied with them three times and never gotten a call. I guess teaching CRJ-200 at a 142 training center with 600 hours instructing in the thing and a full CL-65 type isn't enough.

That's why I was turned down by Comair. Last year I was in a position where I couldn't fly for about 4 months, which made my yearly totals pretty sad. If my upcoming ASA interview doesn't work out, I've got a few students lined up which will get me back in the game. I've been spending WAY too much time teaching in the sims recently (~80 hrs/month).

To get hired here you need to increase your total and multi time.
I came from a 121 training department prior to AWAC and had nearly 500 hours of level C/D simulator experience and while that certainly helped me through training, knowledge of the airplane and being able to properly do a maneuvering stall won't necessarily help you flying the line. It sucks, but believe me, its the truth. Have you considered an instructor job here? I think you get a line number after a year or so...
Get yourself flying again and continue to update your resume. Good luck!!!

Sometimes I just don't understand it. I didn't get a call, but I know someone who just got hired there with 240 TT and less than 100 ME.

The posted mins by the regionals dont mean dog crap. I know several guys who got hired with around 260TT and less than 20ME. Just keep banging on their door, call them, send them letters until you get a response. How has your luck been with other regionals?
